Kirby brought home sparklers tonight and the kids had a ball with them. I was nervous Claire's beloved feet pajamas were about to catch fire, but Gwen managed to give her some distance. Claire did ask what I thought she would like on fire. What?
I adore these pics of the girls. Gwen said Claire looked so cute in her feet pajamas that she just had to hug her! This after days of being home together and near death experiences due to scratching and strangling( yes our kids do that too!)
Race missed most of the fire action but he was around for a little bit to say " Oh Wow" in that cute 1yr old way.

Happy New Year! McAllen is a totally different city! Our entire neighborhood was shooting off fireworks (although against the law) and having this huge party until 1am.

Great pics. You guys looked like you has so much fun! My kids were in bed by 7pm and I was singing my "Zs" by 10pm. Am I lame or what!? However, I did see fireworks on the way home and pointed them out to Isaac. He looked out the car window from his carseat and said, "Cool." I felt a little inner-peace . . . at least we got to see fireworks.
